The Rolling Stones

Through Thinkfarm, I have worked on the 3D tongues for both ‘Stones Tour ‘24: Hackney Diamonds2’ and ‘SIXTY’.

With Tour ‘24 we started with a gem-like illustration that I then had to translate into 3D. A lot of UV mapping later we had a 3D version of the tongue that we could colour and shatter as needed.

For SIXTY the tongue was created in 3D from the start. We wanted a cybernetic feel and as it was for a summer tour, we wanted the colours to be bright and exciting.

The 3D patterns from the tongue were then used across the tour, on merch, on the stage design and on posterns.
